I am pleased with the fact that there's been an obvious attempt in experimenting with different designs and how they would look when designing for the male and female gender. I'm also happy to see how a lot of research has gone into different possible races for this concept. Very nice!
I like the way you have incorporated the fantasy elements into your drawings such as elf like features, fire producers and costume as this makes them easily recognisable to this genre. I also like how in the bottom picture you have first created silhouettes and then made sketches from them.
I like how the designs vary throughout different genders and races. I also like how they all fit the theme you are designing for. It may be worth practicing with the same design with slightly different versions.
The way that they vary helps show equality and it also gives many more options for the design of the character. This can help lead to the best suited character and helps break from what you see in your mind. The different versions of a design will help by letting you play with different copy's of a successful design. This makes it easy to come up with multiple quality designs.
I like they way you have done different genders and races I think it could have been improved by changing the theme of wizards for example it would improve it by showing change. It is also good how you have used silhouettes

ReplyDeleteI feel that gender and the race was a good element to my work and I shall continue to use these key factors in my work in the near future. :)
