lots of good ideas here and some are very unique but i feel like they don't really have enough emphasis that they are a witch (although, granted, that is hard to do)
Great range of ideas, each individual character has their own set of eyes. I also like the fact they are trolls but they don't need to look ugly. My critique is that I don't really notice any of their features, such as the gills you mentioned, but that's my only critique.
I like how each concept incorporates a different element of both the steampunk and witch genre. I also like how you have placed familiars through out your concept work.
You have used several different ways of showing the character concepts including close ups of the face. I also like how you've used some lines of action. You might improve the concepts by having more of an order to the designs and how you display them
The annotations are quite nice in how they explain the drawing more clearly. Showing the powers of the witch is useful in determining what kind of personality the character has, it also ties into the steampunk use of electricity which is a clever usage
